Hi! I am Inés Basombrío, 54, and I am "YourFaceYogi" :) !
I am a recorded Singer & Songwriter from Argentina actually living in Munich, Germany, and a Certified Face Yoga Teacher, since November 2021. I also travelled A LOT, around the world.
In 2020, during Corona, when I could no longer go out to sing, I discovered Face Yoga Method by Fumiko Takatsu. It was an uplifting activity, which helped me come back to self care in a moment in which it did not seem to make much sense.
During 2021, I saw the possibility of becoming a Face Yoga Teacher and I had a good feeling about it, a positive intuition. So I jumped in!
Among my studies at the Conservatory in Argentina, I learned Corporal Expression, with many relaxation techniques, especially for the lasting bad postures while playing certain instruments.
Later in life, I also took Logokynesis sessions for eight years, as a private student in Montevideo, Uruguay. This helped me integrate a holistic movement and release lots of tensions in an independent way.
Now, with Face Yoga, I am very excited at the same time that I am very respectful of the muscles of our face, which have a task to show our spontaneity.
That is why, my approach is very sensitive and with a special, highly appreciative care towards them. We want to keep our identity, keep showing emotions, moods, etc.
I invite you to talk to me about your concerns regarding any face issues you would like to address, and I will spoil you with a routine made exclusively for your needs.

Face yoga is a natural technique by which we prevent, smoothen and/or remove unwanted wrinkles, sagginess and puffiness from our face. It also helps to obtain symmetry, tones and shapes our face.
We achieve it mainly by training the muscles of our face. We have many different tiny muscles in different directions that are in charge of something as important as the expressions of our emotions, mood, attitude, how we feel and how the body feels, reactions to what our senses perceive, etc.
Some muscles work too much and some too little, and this creates imbalances that translate into wrinkles.
Alignment, connection to breath, detox, and promotion of circulation for a healthy glow are key in these achievements, as well as lifestyle and daily habits that have an impact on our skin.
Last but not least, it reduces stress and happens to be a very uplifting activity, which again, shows on your face.
Helps us get rid of droopy eyelids, eyebags and eye circles. Makes us embrace our age, taking care of our skin out of love.
